I Am a Terrible Blog Keeper

I know, I know, I became what I swore I wouldn't; one of those DCP bloggers who are enthusiastic about updating on day-to-day life initially, only to have that break down completely around the end of the program. Whoops. In my defense, it really did get super busy from mid-December to January. So busy I usually sat at home most nights (not very blog-worthy).

Christmas away from home was fine...it was definitely weird in that it didn't have the usual 'Christmassy feeling', mostly because work was just the same for us and Animal Kingdom doesn't have much in the way of Christmas decorations to begin with.

Now that I'm home, I think the weirdest part is not seeing my roommates every day. It's very strange to go from living with seven other girls and then to being the only one home for most of the day. Now that school's started again (and I'm hunting for a job) it's easier to forget about it, but I definitely still miss the people I met the most.

All the roommates :)
Of course, I definitely plan to visit as many of them as I possibly can (which is actually very possible for me; yay US Airways!), and already I'm planning to reunite with my friend Andrew (and possibly rommate Bernice) at Disneyland in February.

I had a wonderful experience, and despite the hectic days, the cranky guests, and the sweltering humidity, I don't regret a single thing. I miss it a lot (and I mean A LOT), but I don't think a second college program is in the future for me. I have a friend here in Arizona who wants to do a second program, and is trying to get me to go with her, and despite how fun it would be, I know it's time for me to move on to more adventures.

It's weird going back to MCC mostly because it feels like I never left.  The entire theatre has been renovated and there's a few new faces, but everything's much the same. I plan on finishing out the semester there (hopefully while working another job), but currently I'm applying to transfer to BYU for the summer (or U of A or Longwood University in Virginia).

I'm still going to keep this blog to record more day-to-day fun things (if I remember...;P), so stay tuned!
